Enköping's General Practice Centre is part of Region Uppsala's Department of Close Care and Health. We work with close care and health in Uppsala County and offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Your Role

We are now looking for a nurse interested in working with the elderly and elderly care. As a nurse, you will have a varied workload, such as assessing and helping patients in telephone counseling, via e-services, and in direct meetings at scheduled clinics.

We actively work to improve patient flows through triage and booking for all professions. With us, you work in close cooperation with other professions and also collaborate with our branch in Fjärdhundra as part of your duties. Work may occasionally take place at the Fjärdhundra branch.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Previous experience in primary care, healthcare systems, telephone counseling, and triage is meritorious.

The work requires you to be flexible in your approach, enjoy taking overall responsibility, and have a strong desire to continuously develop the operations with the patient in focus. A driver's license is meritorious, as home visits may occur in the role. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and ability to develop the operations together with other professional categories at the clinic.

Our Operations

The health center belongs to the Department of Close Care and Health, Region Uppsala, and is centrally located adjacent to the Hospital in Enköping. The operations also include a branch in Fjärdhundra. The health center, together with the branch, has approximately 9,000 registered patients, and at the health center, we are approximately 40 employees working in close cooperation. We have good exchange with the hospital, and an emergency clinic is located next to us. Our patients come from both urban areas and surrounding rural areas.
